Load-shedding schedule amended

Eskom has announced a slight decrease in load-shedding for today.

Eskom has announced a slight change in the load-shedding schedule for today, as load-shedding was suspended at 01:35 this morning.

According to a short statement by the power utility, the pumped storage dam levels have been adequately replenished for the coming week. Diesel levels at certain power stations have improved but remain low.

Thus, stage 2 load-shedding is being implemented from 08:00 until 16:00 today. After that, stage 4 load-shedding will be implemented until 05:00 tomorrow.

Eskom said it would publish an update if any significant changes occur.
