Malibongwe gas depot fire ‘under control’ – Joburg EMS
Twitter was abuzz with concerned residents sharing what they had heard as well as photos and videos of the fire.
City of Joburg Emergency Management Services (EMS) contained a fire at a company that supplies gas cylinders on Malibongwe Drive in North Riding.
EMS spokesperson, Nana Radebe, said the services received the call at 6.51pm this evening (12 June). ‘The fire is under control and no injuries reported,’ she said.
More to follow as further information comes to light.
