Man found dead in his car

A man has been found dead in his car on Oak Street West, in Farrarmere, Benoni, this morning.

ER24 Johannesburg East spokesperson Glen Orritt said the 24-year-old man was found behind the wheel of the car in an unresponsive state, Benoni City Times reported.

The unidentified man is reported to have left home at 4.30am.

He was declared dead on the scene, said Orritt.

It is believed the man died of natural causes.

Earlier this month, the dead body of a 33-year-old man was found with the intestines cut out in Gamalakhe, KwaZulu-Natal.

Police spokesperson Captain Gerald Mfeka said Sizwe Mqadi’s body was found at the KFC tavern in Gamalakhe after he had gone to visit his mother.

Mfeka added Mqadi was attacked by a group of men.

“He was badly stabbed, and his intestines were cut out,” said Mfeka.

The motive for the killing was unknown.
