Man killed in suspected Pinetown home invasion
Police are investigating a case of murder and house robbery following a fatal shooting.
A man believed to be in his 40s was killed in a suspected home invasion in Pinetown, KZN, this morning.
According to an article published by Highway Mail, ALS Paramedics spokesperson Garrith Jamieson says they responded to the incident on Limpus Road in Sarnia early this morning.
“ALS Paramedics Medical Services arrived on the scene to find SAPS on scene and were directed to the patient.”
A man had sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and was in critical condition.
Paramedics worked to stabilise him on the scene, however, he went into cardiac arrest.
“Paramedics attempted to resuscitate the man, however, his injuries were too severe and he was declared deceased on the scene,” says Jamieson.
Police in Pinetown confirmed the incident and are investigating a case of murder and house robbery.
