Man murdered on farm residence inland of Scottburgh

Four armed men are on the run after allegedly killing a man during a suspected robbery at a farm residence located inland from Rocky Bay near Scottburgh earlier this evening.

It’s not completely certain at this stage how the man died. Reports indicate that a woman, also living at the residence, was confronted by the men and stabbed. An update on her condition is awaited.

The men have allegedly stolen cell phones and firearms from the residence and are evading police.

Several law enforcement officers have been hot on their trail and a helicopter has been making the rounds in search of the men. An official update and a police report are awaited.
