Missing teen found dead in Msunduzi River

The body of 17-year-old Amahle Nzimakwe, who visited relatives after school, was quickly recovered by searchers this morning.

The search for a missing 17-year-old matric learner at KwaNobhala High School in KZN ended in tragedy when her body was found in the Msunduzi river at Maqongqo today.

It is alleged that Amahle Nzimakwe from Ezinembeni returned from school yesterday and asked her father if she can visit her relatives across the river in an area called Estingini.

The search started this morning at around 11:00 and her body was recovered after 20 minutes.
