Robber posing as patient strikes at Graaff-Reinet hospital
A nursing sister and a female patient were robbed in the early hours of this morning (Saturday) at Midland Hospital in Graaff-Reinet.

Shortly before 3.30am, a young man posing as a patient, threatened the two women in the casualty department before robbing them of their cellphones, Graaff-Reinet Advertiser reports.
He allegedly claimed that he had a knife in his jacket pocket; the terrified women said he told them he would stab them if they screamed.
There was only one female security officer on duty, who was unaware that anything was wrong until the man ran out passed her, and the two women started screaming.
The victims said that another man had been waiting by the door, keeping an eye on the security officer and to look out for anyone else coming in.
There were no other patients in casualty at the time.
The two suspects fled on foot.
According to Capt Bradley Rawlinson, spokesperson of the Graaff-Reinet SAPS, local police were on the scene first thing this morning, taking statements.
A case of robbery has been opened for investigation.
