Soweto hostage drama: wounded body of tenant found
Forensics confirmed the body was there for more than a day or so.
Police provincial spokesperson Lieutenant Lungelo Dlamini has confirmed that the body that was found in the household in Tladi (Sekudu Street) was that of a tenant who lived there, the Sowetan Urban reports.
Forensics confirmed the body that was found on Thursday has been there for 36 to 40 hours.
“The man was found facing down with wounds on the upper body.
“It is not clear yet if this body is linked to the previous incident, however, the police are investigating the evidence and weapon to see if the cases are linked,” said Dlamini.
