Springboks vs All Blacks: All you need to know for Mbombela Stadium match

Here is all the information you need to know for Saturday's rugby match in Nelspruit.

Although Mbombela is no stranger to hosting the Bokke, it is the first time the boys in green and gold have taken on arch-rivals New Zealand on Lowveld soil.

Time is of the essence on game day, so make sure you arrive early. Here are handy tips and times for Saturday’s match:

Getting to the stadium

Fans are encouraged to make use of the convenient park-and-ride system that will be operating to the stadium from 12:00. The match kick-off is at 17:00.

A R50 parking fee will be payable at the secure parking at the following park and ride pickup points:

• Laerskool Laeveld
• Hoërskool Nelspruit
• Laerskool Nelspruit
• Valley Hyper
• Hoërskool Bergvlam
• Lowveld High School
• Nelspruit Primary
• Curro Academy
• The Grove
• Riverside Mall
• Laerskool Witrivier
• Hoërskool Rob Ferreira

A match ticket includes a stadium return trip on a bus and no bus ticket fee is payable. Dedicated, clearly marked buses will transport supporters back to pickup points after the match.

The park-and-ride buses will be operational until 22:00.

Early-bird parking

Limited free parking is available from 10:00 on the match day at the stadium for supporters who want to make use of early-bird parking, and vehicles will be allowed within the stadium precinct until one hour before kick- off or when parking areas are full.

Only vehicles with hospitality parking tickets will be allowed into the precinct after road closure. No parking bays may be reserved. Access roads will be closed once available parking has been occupied and vehicles will be diverted to the park-and-ride pickup points.

Entertainment at the stadium:

Fans will be allowed to braai with gas braais within the parking areas, provided that it is done behind vehicles. No open fires will be allowed due to safety reasons. Dedicated braai areas will also be established within the parking areas where fans could enjoy the day.

Due to limited parking available, no additional parking bays may be utilised to place gazebos, gas braais, camping chairs, etc. An SAB-sponsored beer garden with live entertainment, beverage sales and toilets will be set up on the B and C fields.

There will be various serving stations on the upper and lower levels of the stadium. These will sell a variety of beers, ciders and cooldrinks.

• Beer garden entertainment: 12:00
• Park-and-ride commences: 12:00
• Stadium turnstiles open: 13:00
• Match kick-off: 17:05
• Last park-and-ride: 21:00
• Stadium lockdown: 22:00.

General information

• Please note that once you enter through the turnstiles, you will not be permitted to exit and return. Make sure you have everything you might need (medication, warm clothes, cash, etc).
• FNB ATMs will be available on-site.
• Prohibited items include outside food, drinks and alcohol, as well as explosives, weapons of any kind and narcotics.
• No smoking or vaping will be allowed in the stands. Fans are urged to please make use of the designated smoking areas.
