Truck driver protest: N11 and N3 blocked in KZN, Free State

The motive behind the ongoing protest said to be about the hiring of foreign truck drivers.

The N3 between Warden and Dundee in the Free State as well as the N11 in KwaZulu-Natal near the Dundee offramp have been blocked by trucks.

The Northern Natal Courier reported that law enforcement authorities are monitoring the situation. Road users are advised to expect extensive traffic delays and to approach the area with caution.

Bloemfontein Courant reported that trucks are blocking the N3 in both north- and southbound directions in the vicinity of the Roadside/Reitz Interchange between Warden and Villiers and that traffic was backed up more than 5km in each direction.
