Watch: Anrich Nortje hit by spidercam
The Proteas fast bowler was hit by Fox Sports’ spidercam at the Melbourne City Ground during the second test on Tuesday.
Proteas fast bowler Anrich Nortje took a knock during the second test against Australia.
He was hit by the spidercam of broadcaster Fox Sports just after his excellent post-lunch four-over spell in which he conceded 11 runs and was unlucky not to pick up one or two wickets.
Nortje was knocked to the ground by the flying camera but escaped serious injury.

Ever since spidercam hit Nortje it appears to be benched (or rather the operator has been), high away from doing anyone damage, that is except for the birds #AUSvsSA pic.twitter.com/i3hvSf3f4U

Nortje spoke to the media on being hit by the spidercam, his battle with David Warner, and having fun with the crowd at Bay 13.
