Watch: Beer truck looted on KZN highway
Community members and motorists helped themselves to a truck’s liquid cargo after it stopped on the highway.
A truck delivering beer was looted on the N2 in Umgababa in KZN this morning.
In a video taken by a motorist, the truck appears to pull over across the yellow line before community members and motorists loot its liquid cargo.
At the time of publication by South Coast Sun, it was unclear why the truck driver stopped on the side of the busy highway.
Dalene Heath from Toti Community Assist says police and ET Rapid Response arrived and cleared the looters from the scene.
No arrests are reported to have been made.
