A woman wanted in connection with the murder of radio and television presenter Warrick ‘DJ Warras’ Stock has been arrested in Msinga, near Greytown, KZN, reports The Witness.

KZN police spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda confirmed that the 40-year-old woman was arrested on yesterday (September 9) after detectives and Visible Policing members received information that she was hiding in the area.

Police followed up on the information, which led them to a homestead in the Ngcengeni area of Msinga, where the suspect was found.

“The suspect was arrested and will be handed over to police in Gauteng for further handling,” said Netshiunda.

Gauteng police had been looking for the woman in connection with allegations of conspiracy to commit murder and murder linked to Stock’s death.

Stock was fatally shot in Johannesburg on December 16, 2025.

The latest arrest follows the conviction and sentencing of one of the men implicated in the killing.

On August 7, the Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg sentenced Armindo Joaquim Pacula to 25 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and contravening the Immigration Act.

Pacula admitted that he shot and killed Stock in exchange for R25 000.

The case against his co-accused, Victor Majola, remains before the court. Majola is expected to appear again on September 18.

Investigators have previously linked Stock’s killing to a dispute at Zambezi Flats in Johannesburg.

The dispute allegedly followed the appointment of Stock’s security company to install a biometric access system at the building.

Police have not yet provided further details on the specific allegations against the woman.

She is expected to be handed over to Gauteng police for further processing and court proceedings.
