Woman dies in KwaDukuza N2 off-ramp shooting

A passenger sustained minor injuries in a targeted attack in KZN that claimed the life of her mother.

A woman in her late 50s was found shot dead in her car at the KwaDukuza N2 northbound off-ramp last night (July 5).

According to The North Coast Courier, the circumstances surrounding the shooting, which happened at about 18:00, remain unclear.

IPSS Medical Rescue spokesperson Kelsey-Jae Meyrick confirmed the woman was found in the driver’s seat. Her adult daughter, who was in the passenger seat, survived the attack with minor injuries.

The Witness reports that the circumstances surrounding the shooting, including the motive behind the attack and whether the victims were specifically targeted, remain unclear at this stage.
