Audi Q5 Black Edition models revealed
German automaker Audi’s SUV line-up combines some of its popular optional extras in the offer price.

Following the local introduction of the A4 Black Edition models in 2023, in March this year, Audi South Africa introduced the Black Edition package to its Q2 and A3 model line-ups. Now, the local arm of the German marque has revealed the Q5 Black Edition models.

- 40 TDI quattro Black Edition – R1 210 500
- 40 TFSI quattro Black Edition – R1 215 600
- 40 TDI quattro Sportback Black Edition – R1 273 500
- 40 TFSI quattro Sportback Black Edition – R1 278 400
- SQ5 TFSI quattro Black Edition – R1 541 000
- SQ5 TFSI quattro Sportback Black Edition – R1 612 800
As standard, all models ship with Audi’s five-year/100 000km maintenance plan and two-year/unlimited km warranty.
The new package on the Audi SUV follows a similar approach to other models in the German automaker’s line-up, combining some of the popular optional extras in the offer price. Included with the Q5 40 TDI and 40 TFSI Black Edition variants are Audi’s Black styling plus package, replete with black mirror housings; 20-inch alloy wheels; Matrix LED headlamps; the firm’s Deluxe package, which includes a panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable sports seats, a rear-view camera and lane-change assist; and Technology package. The latter includes the company’s MMI navigation plus and connect infotainment services.

On top of the above-mentioned items, the SQ5 Black Edition models feature a Bang & Olufson sound system, Audi’s park assist package and adaptive air suspension. These derivatives also upgrade 21-inch alloys.
