The Brand South Africa No. 91 Chevrolet Camaro made its debut at the Xfinity Series Focused Health 250, held at Atlanta Motor Speedway, driven by Kyle Weatherman.

This partnership represents a strategic effort by SACCUSA to leverage Nascar as a vehicle for cultural diplomacy. By highlighting South African brands and foundations and promoting Brand South Africa, the collaboration seeks to enter a new market and enhance the nation’s reputation in the United States. The South African business community in the US is excited about this exposure, viewing it as a prime opportunity to establish new business connections and showcase South Africa’s rich heritage.

The Chevrolet Camaro features a striking bright yellow wrap adorned with the South African flag, symbolising national pride. The car prominently displays the Brand South Africa logo on its bonnet and is heavily branded with logos from sponsors such as Switch energy drink, Veldskoen, and the Black Coffee Foundation, just to name a few. Arnout Kok, project co-ordinator and former Nascar driver, noted the significance of collaborating with the Black Coffee Foundation, particularly given Black Coffee’s association with motorsport.
