Kia South Africa confirms pricing for updated Carnival
Kia South Africa has officially revealed the pricing and specifications for its updated Carnival, which will be available in two model grades.
Kia South Africa has revealed pricing for the updated Carnival ahead of its official local launch.
Featuring fresh exterior and interior appointments, the facelifted fourth-generation Kia Carnival has arrived in South Africa; the updated lineup comprising two derivatives. Indeed, the South Korean carmaker has trimmed its local Carnival model range to now include only EX and SXL specification. (Mid-tier, EX+ grade has been dropped.)
2025 Kia Carnival price in SA
The facelifted Kia Carnival is priced from R1 049 995 and R1 299 995 for the EX and SXL models, respectively. The price includes a maintenance plan spanning six years or 90 000km, and a five-year/unlimited km warranty.

2025 Kia Carnival specs
EX and SXL spec ship with eight- and seven-seater layouts, respectively. As standard, both models feature 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto screen mirroring, dual-zone climate control for front occupants, a wireless smartphone charging bay, and a rear-view camera setup.
SXL upgrades on the EX’s standard equipment with the fitment of digital instrumentation, Bose audio system, heated/ventilated front pews, and a head-up display, among a raft of other additional items.
The updated model retains Kia’s 2.2CRDi engine. Shared with the Sorento, which CAR mag sampled at the local launch in June, the 2.2-litre, four-cylinder turbo diesel unit produces 148kW and 440Nm, the latter sent to the front wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission. Kia claims an average fuel consumption of 6.7L/100km.
