Following the unveiling of the GS3 Emzoom Nova at the 2025 Festival of Motoring in August, GAC South Africa has launched the GS3 Emzoom Collection, a limited-edition variant that will be available in our market until the Nova officially arrives here. The GS3 Emzoom Collection is priced similarly as the upcoming Nova.

Limited to just 150 examples, the GS3 Emzoom Collection is priced from R359 900. Pricing includes a lifetime (unlimited km and years) engine warranty and a two-year/30 000km service plan.

• GAC GS3 Emzoom 1.5T Comfort Collection — R359 900

The Emzoom Collection model employs the same 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine as its stablemates. The four-cylinder unit produces 130kW and 270Nm, with power and torque exclusively delivered to the front wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. According to the Chinese automaker, the powertrain sips an average of 6.2l/100km. The 0-100km/h sprint time is a claimed 8.0s.

The GS3 Emzoom Collection is available exclusively in entry-level, Comfort trim. Included in the package are cloth upholstery for the seats and, noteworthy, a few items that do not form part of the soon-to-arrive Nova’s list of standard equipment. The latter includes a larger, 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen (the Nova features a 10-inch display) and 18-inch alloy wheels (as opposed to the Nova’s 17-inch items). Additional features include wireless Apple CarPlay smartphone mirroring, rear park distance sensors, keyless entry and two airbags.
