New Year, More Movie Fun

It’s the start of a New Year at the movies – let’s make 2022 even more magical with the greatest entertainment experiences at Nu Metro cinemas in Pretoria, where the holiday movie fun never stops!

As the action rockets around the globe from the cafes of Paris to the markets of Morocco to the wealth and glamour of Shanghai, this quartet of women will forge a tenuous loyalty that could protect the world—or get them killed.

THE TIGER RISING (PG V)

Queen Latifah and Dennis Quaid star in The Tiger Rising, the heartwarming adaptation of the beloved tale from the New York Times bestseller. A 12-year-old boy who’s recently lost his mother discovers how to conquer his fear and pain through the power of his imagination, the help of a feisty new girl at school, a simple yet mysterious hotel maid, and a 15kg tiger he finds in the woods.

DOGTANIAN AND THE THREE MUSKETEERS (PG V)

The Dogtanian movie is an updated version of the popular 80s television cartoon adventure, which fans may remember being dubbed into Afrikaans as “Brakanjan!” Dogtanian travels to Paris to become a Muskehound like his father and gets embroiled in a plot to draw England into war with France. This is the story of a great hero who fought for honour, loyalty and friendship…and also found love.
