Video: Meet the Kranspoort bushveld’s most entertaining local celebrities

A playful pair of warthogs, a tame kudu and a loyal pigeon are keeping Middelburg residents amused with their quirky daily antics.

Welcome to the Kranspoort animal amusement park.

Two warthogs, a kudu and a pigeon keep residents of the bushveld town about 40km from Middelburg entertained for hours, reports Middelburg Observer.

The two warthogs, Willie and Wollie, have residents laughing at their playfulness.

Their antics on a mound of dirt would put even monkeys to shame.

Penny is the tame kudu at Kranspoort who was raised by Willie (not the warthog!) and Riana Schoeman after she was orphaned at birth. She regularly stops by Pumba’s Den for a snack. Jimbo and Noleene Gordon, owners of Pumba’s Den, let the curious kudu do whatever she wants when she walks into their place.

Willie and Wollie, who are littermates, sometimes forget they are wild pigs and instead act like clowns.

Add Bismarck, the tame rock pigeon, who insists on sitting on Jimbo’s head and won’t tolerate anyone else getting too close, and you have enough footage to keep the world smiling all day.
