Three dogs tied up with barbed wire, left to die near Ladysmith

The dogs had to be put down due to the terrible condition they were in.

Three dogs were found chained up with barbed wire and left to die on a bypass near Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal.

Annamarie Koen, from the Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL), received a call regarding dogs being chained in this area, Ladysmith Gazette reported.

She immediately went out and was shocked to see three dehydrated and starving dogs covered in mange and chained with barbed wire.

AACL workers freed the terrified dogs and immediately took them to the vet.

They had to be put down due to the terrible condition they were in.

“I really cannot believe people can be this cruel and heartless,” said Annamarie with tears in her eyes.
