Mafikizolo had a great 2013

South African, Afro-pop, duo Mafikizolo say that 2013 was a great year for them.

Speaking in an SABC interview Nhlanhla Nciza and Theo Kgosinkwe, revealed that they have been supported throughout Africa and scooped a few awards in the process.

“It’s been an amazing year we were nominated internationally for the MTV EMA’s and the MOBO awards. We also were nominated for the Nigerian music awards and won the Cana music awards in Nigeria and as the Ghana music awards and Channel O music awards,” says Nciza.

According to DRUM, Nciza says part of their new year’s resolution is to promote their album and releasing more videos.

“There’s more to the album than ‘Khona’ and ‘Happiness’. We are going to explore and shoot new music videos from the album throughout the African continent.” Nciza added.
