Apparently the man was found with a bullet in his chest.
Bedfordview police in Ekurhuleni responded to a call of a man found dead in his car near Van der Linde Road, Bedfordview Edenvale News reports.
“Once on scene police officers found an elderly white man inside his car with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was declared dead on the scene by emergency services,” said Bedfordview poilce spokesperson Captain Andre de Jager.

A murder docket was opened by the Bedfordview police.
“A postmortem will be done to confirm the cause of death,” said De Jager.
