East Rand club ‘killer’ hands himself in

He handed himself in the presence of his attorney after a video surfaced of him jamming a pool cue into a man's skull.

The suspect who attacked Ludi Vink with a pool cue on Tuesday evening, February 21, at Mitzy’s Bar in Randhart, on the East Rand, handed himself over to Alberton detectives in the presence of his attorney on Friday morning, February 24, Alberton Record reports.

He is currently being charged with murder and assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm at Alberton Police Station.

He could possibly appear in court today for bail, depending on the time it takes to process the case and details. If not, he will be held in holding cells until such time that a date for a bail hearing has been set.

Captain De Fillet from the Alberton Detectives said they would oppose bail and more arrests were to follow.
