One killed as potato truck rolls on N17
It is still unknown yet what caused the accident.
The accident took place near the Dalpark Toll Plaza.
A truck transporting potatoes has rolled along the N17 highway, near the Dalpark Toll Plaza, in Brakpan, killing one man and seriously injuring another in Ekurhuleni, Brakpan Herald reports.
The crash occurred around midday.
According to information received from Ekurhuleni Disaster and Emergency Management Services, the two occupants in the truck were travelling from Limpopo.
Emergency services personnel arrived on the scene to find the body of one of the occupants.

The other was seriously injured and transported to the Sunshine Hospital, in Benoni.
Traffic along the highway has been brought to a standstill.
Traffic in both directions along Springs Road/Elsburg Road is also affected, due to rubbernecking.
