Medical parole pushback could ignite more Zuma riots

Fraser's decision and the view among his supporters that the former president is being persecuted through the courts may spark anger should Zuma find himself back behind bars.

The Department of Correctional Services (DCS) said former president Jacob Zuma had a surgical procedure on Saturday, 14 August and other procedures, the ANC has wished him a speedy recovery.
