Simnikiwe is a journalist for The Citizen's Premium offering. She writes about issues that affect marginalised communities, young people and women. Before joining The Citizen in 2016 she worked at a number of broadcast houses including SABC News, Power FM and production company Endemol. She received her National Diploma in Journalism at the Durban University of Technology in 2014.
