In an official statement on Wednesday, the Economic Freedom Fighters expressed their approval of North America winning the right to host the 2026 World Cup over fellow finalist Morocco.
The party said they had been alarmed by reports that Safa was allegedly supporting Morocco, which the EFF believes has a terrible human rights record and is “colonial”.
The EFF opposes Morocco’s occupation of Western Sahara.
