Striking bus drivers in George walk to CBD

Bus drivers in George are upset that the traffic department is not enforcing the permits ensuring that taxis cannot transport passengers on the bus routes.  


Traffic flow out of Pacaltsdorp in George remains congested due to protest action, George Herald reports.

The striking Numsa bus drivers are now walking to the CBD.

The march is impacting severely on traffic flow in town.

The bus drivers are upset that the traffic department is not enforcing permits needed to ensure that taxis cannot transport passengers on the bus routes.

The taxis are currently operating on these routes as GO GEORGE services remain suspended due to the ongoing national strike.
