Tzaneen man stabbed to death outside girlfriend’s homestead

The suspect stabbed the deceased three times in the chest, back and chin.


Police in Maake are investigating the murder of Aubrey Kgatle, 32, which occurred on October 28 at Pulaneng village outside Tzaneen, Letaba Herald reports.

According to police spokesperson Emmanuel Manabe, it is alleged the deceased was at his girlfriend’s homestead and went outside the house for a smoke.

The suspect, Mothibane Kgatle, allegedly emerged, stabbed the deceased three times in the chest, back and chin, killing him instantly before fleeing the scene.

The suspect was later arrested, and is now in custody.
