Use #iAmJoburg to help find Joburg experiences

Last night saw the launch of the brand new #iAmJoburg platform at the Parktonian All Suite in Braamfontein. City Buzz attended the launch to find out what the new platform entails.

I Am Joburg is a collective of Johannesburg experiences, focusing on the creative, tours and small businesses in Johannesburg. “We realised that Johannesburg is a difficult city to navigate as a tourist and even as a local, and there are so many amazing small entrepreneurial businesses out there showcasing our city,” said Meruschka Govender, one of the founding members of #iAmJoburg.

On the website at www.iamjoburg.africa visitors will be able to find over 50 experiences listed, from cycle tours in Soweto and Alexandra to walking tours through the city centre.

#iAmJoburg is about celebrating the locals and celebrating what makes the city special: its people.
