WATCH: KZN road closed due to learners’ protest

SAPS and Metro Police are currently at the protest in Sarnia Road, KZN, trying to resolve the issue.


Sarnia Road in Queensburgh, KwaZulu-Natal has been closed as Phambili High School learners are protesting, Highway Mail reports.

Garrith Jamieson from Rescue Care Paramedics said that one person has sustained minor injuries and is being treated.

“The road is still closed off from Sarnia Road coming up from the M7 and from the Titren side as well.”

SAPS and Metro police are in attendance trying to sort out the issue. At this stage it is unclear what the protest is about.

Motorists are urged to use alternative routes.
