Suzuki and Chery dealership to open in Umhlali
The Umhlali location will house Suzuki and Chery cars, while also offering in-house service and parts for both brands.
A vibrant new family-run motor dealership is set to open in Umhlali in March, bringing Suzuki and Chery cars to the North Coast market.
Dieter and Gisela Witthoft, a dynamic father-daughter team, have ventured south of the Tugela for the first time after successfully running dealerships in Zululand for the past 20 years.
Gisela is taking on the challenge with confidence and will serve as the general manager of the Umhlali branch, ensuring a hands-on approach at the new dealership.
“Being directly involved in the operations of each dealership is a point of pride for us. In this way we maintain solid customer relationships and ensure our exceptional standards are continually achieved,” said Gisela.
The Witthoft team prioritise long-lasting customer relationships, which they say can only be achieved through excellence.
Dieter opened his first dealership, East Toyota in eShowe, in 2002 and has not looked back since.
“In the last 20 years we have added Ford, Suzuki and GWM Haval to our eShowe range, while also opening a Suzuki, GWM Haval and Chery dealership in Richard’s Bay,” Gisela said.
Despite the expansion, retaining the family-first attitude to business has been a successful recipe for the Witthofts, who are excited to become actively involved in the North Coast community.
“I have heard so many great things about the communities in this area and I cannot wait to meet everyone once we open.”
