It took less than 30 minutes on Saturday morning to find a car stolen in Umdloti.
Marshall Security were alerted to the theft after the owner flagged them down along Bellamont Road just after 7am.
With details of the theft a few minutes old, information of the car was quickly circulated and a tracking device activated.
Marshall Security reported that within half an hour of the tracker being activated they had located the Toyota Fortuner at Ntuzuma B Section.
It was found abandoned and still idling, while the thief had fled.
The car was handed over to the police for further investigation.
