The first number is for the latest stats (2014/15) followed by last years figure (2013/14)

*Take Note: According to police, there was a technical problem and the figures for hijackings reported at police stations for 2013/14 were incorrectly reflected as zero.

*The difference between a house robbery and a house burglary is that the occupants were not home during a burglary.

1. Drug related crime 682 – 578

*This includes drug related arrests made by the station.

2. Burglary at residential premises 373 – 435

3. All theft not mentioned elsewhere 336 – 421

4. Common assault 285 – 309

5. Assault with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm 222 – 223

6. Robbery with aggravating circumstances 210 – 229

*Theft out of or from motor vehicle 120 – 105

* Malicious injury to property 116 – 108

* Commercial crime 67 – 49

* Sexual offenses 71 – 85

* Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs

* Burglary at non-residential premises 87 – 90

* Robbery at residential premises 55 – 44

* Attempted murder 31 – 49

* Murder 28 – 29

* Robbery at non-residential premises 15 – 22

* Sexual offenses as a result of police action 12 – 3
