Rotaract’s blue gazebo, erected in the park opposite Ballito Bay Mall, made many bargain hunters happy at the beginning of the month.
Rotaract president and former Miss Ballito, Kirsten Martins said they hosted this second hand clothing sale to give people an opportunity to get good clothes at low prices, while raising money for charities.
“We received about ten bags and six boxes full of donated clothing, hats, bags, shoes, pillows and even curtain rings from the community,” said Martins.
She said they made about R3000 over the two days and will use to money to help a local charity.
