Car stolen in Ballito beachfront housebreaking

Holiday makers are urged to be vigilant with the onset of the holiday season.

A gold Honda, with GP number plates, was stolen during an early-morning housebreaking on Compensation Beach Road, Ballito, on Saturday, November 21.

According to police reports the people living in the house only noticed that they had been burgled and car stolen at 9.30 am.

With no sign of forced entry, the thieves also got away with the owner’s cellphone and wallet before making a quiet getaway

The car is believed to be fitted with a tracker device that appeared to have been disabled as it was not emitting a signal.

The vehicle registration number is BV26NLGP.

No arrests had been made and a docket was opened at the Umhlali SAPS.
