Good rainfall around Hazelmere Dam in the last 24 hours has seen the dam level increase to 26.6%.
Umgeni Water recorded 28.2 millimetres of rain at the dam.
However, the drought is by no means over and we still need a lot of rain in the catchment area to fill Hazelmere Dam.
