Hazelmere Dam update

Hazelmere Dam level is just under 65 percent.

The Hazelmere Dam level is at 64.92 per cent today (Tuesday October 4) an increase from 63.25 per cent measured on Monday  September 19.

A far cry from December last year when the dam measured 32.25 per cent on 23.

The South African Sugar Cane Research institute (SASRI) weather report gave yesterday’s average rainfall as 11mm for Darnall, 6.4mm for Gledhow and 4.1mm for Maidstone.

Although water restrictions have been lifted, conservation of water should remain part of our lives.
