Lollos from Lalaland visits Ballito

During the live shows the characters encourage youngsters to dance and play along as they learn something new in a playful way such as the ABC, how to count, the days of the week, how to eat healthy, getting fit, South Africa, recycling and a lot more.

Popular Lollos and Lettie, Disco and Karla will visit Ballito for the first time on Saturday October 29, at 4pm at Curro Mount Richmore.

Lollos, a friendly character from Lalaland, is the brain child of two Cape Town moms, Alta Joubert and Minki Joubert, who decided that there isn’t enough modern, colourful and interactive entertainment for children in Afrikaans.

Lalaland is the fantasy planet Lollos are from where they enjoy Lalalollies, but then Lollos fans will know this.

Lollos was created in 2008 with the release of the first CD. The songs on the CD, DVD and shows are cheerful and funky, entertaining both young and old. They’ve released a total of eight CDs up to date, of which all six reached platinum status, and a SAMA award for best children’s CD.

Live shows are done all over the country and targets children between the ages of one and ten.

During the live shows the characters encourage youngsters to dance and play along as they learn something new in a playful way such as the ABC, how to count, the  days of the week, how to eat healthy, getting fit, South Africa, recycling and a lot more.

The show and characters became so popular that they’ve launched their own product range that includes storybooks, bath products, clothing, soft toys, masks, backpacks and even themed party products.
