Pedestrian pinned under truck in Ndwedwe

While the pedestrian was walking along, a truck came down the embankment, pinning him underneath it

A pedestrian escaped serious injuries after being pinned underneath a truck and a tree stump in Ndwedwe on Saturday.

According to IPSS Medical Rescue, the truck driver lost control on the sand road and slid down an embankment, taking the 24-year-old man with him.

Together with the Tongaat Fire Department, they were able to free the pedestrian before taking him to hospital.
