Another pedestrian hit on Ballito Drive
The driver of the scooter and a pedestrian were both treated for moderate injuries
A pedestrian trying to cross Ballito Drive next to the BP garage was hit by a scooter this morning.
According to onlookers, the 21-year-old driver of the scooter was headed up Ballito Drive when the accident occured.
Both women were taken to hospital with moderate injuries.
The road has since been cleared of debris and traffic is flowing normally again.
This is the third pedestrian accident on this road in the past month.
A pedestrian crossing Ballito Drive by the Virgin Active was injured on April 9 and a woman crossing the road between the Lifestyle Centre and the Ballito Junction was hit by a car on March 30.
