One dead, three injured in Tongaat head-on collision

The road was closed for a period of time but has since been reopened

Three vehicles were involved in a high impact head-on collision on Watson Highway in Tongaat around midnight last night which left one dead and multiple injured.

Debris was scattered all across the road.

According to IPSS Medical Rescue’s Paul Herbst, the driver of the one vehicle succumbed to his injuries and his body was trapped inside the mangled wreckage.

The injured were taken to hospital.
