Soups, Socks and Snuggles for the orphans
In its fourth year, the Soup, Socks and Snuggles campaign asks you to collect tinned or packet soups, socks and winter clothing
With winter around the corner, it is time again for The North Coast Courier’s Orphan Fund‘s Soup, Socks and Snuggles campaign.
The drive aims to help vulnerable children on the Dolphin Coast keep warm and cosy during those cold winter days.
In its fourth year, the Soup, Socks and Snuggles campaign asks you to collect tinned or packet soups, socks and winter clothing.
The North Coast Courier Orphan Fundraising coordinator June Mdolo said collection boxes have been placed around Ballito from May 2.
“For now some of the collection points are at Crawford North Coast, Crawford Pre-Primary, Sheffield Pre-Primary, All Souls Anglican church, Ballito Gesinskerk, NG Gemeente Noordkus, Church Alive, Checkers at Ballito Junction mall and Engen Ballito. More companies have expressed interest and some are still to confirm.”
Mdolo said about 4257 items were collected last year and she hoped that this year would be a greater success.
