Grounding yoga and meditation as GI Jane kicks off Ballito Junction active month

From chair pose to chaturanga, North Coast residents were excited to expand their yoga repertoire last weekend.
In the first of four weekly outdoor exercise sessions, yoga and meditation set the scene for Ballito Junction’s active Ballito month.
GI Jane (Jane Kilian) was the first instructor of the Fit-fluencer Showdown and brought a wealth of expertise to the group that joined.
“The programme I chose this morning was designed for people of every skill level. We had a great group and a good workout,” she said.

The attendees were provided with headphones while exercising, which played both accompanying music and ongoing instruction from Jane, who also runs Secret Sunrise in Durban.
“The right music makes such a difference in getting you in the right headspace to ensure you take as much out of the process as possible.”
With the headphones, participants could also socially distance effectively without missing any of the important details or experience.
