Fitness junkies go military style at Ballito Junction

The next class at Ballito Junction's level 6 astro turf area will be held on February 19 and will be conducted by Xoliswa Nkosi, a Virgin Active master trainer who will be teaching functional body conditioning.

The second of four weekly outdoor fitness classes held at Ballito Junction saw participants work through a military-style boot camp on Saturday.

Fitness fanatics they may be, but they were tested to the limits by trainer and “fitfluencer” Chyvan Mahabeer.

Mom and daughter Ntonto and Nobheki Twala work together to stay in shape.

Mahabeer has 10 years’ experience in the health and fitness industry and South African Air Force.

Two more sessions remain and those keen on joining are welcome. Entry is free, but capped at 35 people per class.
