Walk, run or ride for a good cause at Holla Trails
The challenge runs from March 12 to 20 and offers participants, young and old, professional or amateur, a range of distances to choose from.
Help make a difference in breaking the cycle of poverty by joining Ballito’s FunTribe for the JumpStart Challenge at Holla Trails, Sugar Rush Park on March 13.
Walk, run or ride your way in this Mr Price Foundation-powered event for a good cause, which aims to empower young, unemployed South Africans through the JumpStart skills development programme.
FunTribe member Jenny Viljoen said people could stay fit and have fun while serving a worthy cause.
“Our youth are an important part of society and empowering them ensures a better future for our country. Anyone is welcome to join our tribe at Holla Trails and support the cause.”
Holla Trails manager Jasper van Vessem said they were excited to collaborate with the Mr Price Foundation on this event.
“We hope that March 13 will highlight the foundation’s efforts to empower our youth and break the cycle of poverty and inequality in our country.”
The event is a hybrid between both virtual and physical options for participants.
The challenge runs from March 12 to 20 and offers participants, young and old, professional or amateur, a range of distances to choose from.
Virtual entry at R99 per person:
Run or walk: 3, 7 or 15km.
Ride: 15, 50 or 100km.
Physical participants at Holla Trails will pay a 50% discounted rate of R140 to ride and R120 to run. This includes the necessary permits:
Holla Trails run or walk: 3.3, 8.5 and 14km.
Holla Trails MTB Ride: 15, 50 and 95km.
