Margaret Hirsch encourages pupils to dream

Hirsch's CEO visits PLG school in Ballito.

Pupils and staff at Ballito’s PLG Academy were greeted and treated last Thursday morning, September 3, when Hirsch’s CEO, Margaret Hirsch visited the school to share her experience in both life and business with the grade 11 pupils.

As part of the company’s support for education, Hirsch visits both private and government schools across the country to deliver motivational speeches and interact with young minds.

“You must live your life the way only you want to. Do not let anybody tell you that your dreams cannot come true, because all of mine did,” said Hirsch, whose company now has branches across the globe.

Hirsch’s visit to PLG is part of a nationwide initiative to inspire young entrepreneurs as they begin to think about business.

“Be the best possible version of yourself and remember that it is important your career of choice makes you happy,” said Hirsch.

Margaret Hirsch was recently given a Lifetime Achievement Award in the retail and wholesale industry and is the winner of many business awards.

She would like to give KZN school children who love creative writing an opportunity to let their talent shine.
