Equestrian champ Kyla Picken brings home gold and trophies

Curro Mount Richmore’s Kyla Picken is making a name for herself in the equestrian world.

Riding the KwaZulu-Natal Dressage Championships at Shongweni recently, Kyla’s hard work and dedication paid off.

In the Junior Elementary/Medium Level, Kyla took home first place in 3 categories: Warm Up Class, Championship Class and Freestyle Class.

Kyla also won Victrix Ludorum for Junior Elementary/Medium for 2021 and has been awarded the 2021 KZN Youth Ride Championship trophy.

Kyla is a Grade 11 pupil at Curro Mount Richmore.
