Darnall Primary School was founded in 1916 and has spent over a century growing into the proud educational establishment it is today.

The school offers wholesome education for children from Grade R to 7, backed up by dedicated and enthusiastic staff who have the interests of every individual at heart. Teachers are aware of current trends in education, sensitive to individual learning needs and styles, and committed to developing the whole child holistically.

Educational facilities include air-conditioned classrooms with white boards and e-beams with projectors for interactive learning. The school also boasts a well-stocked library and computer centre with an interactive Smartboard that facilitates coding through code4kids.

Small classes ensure that each child is recognised and celebrated for their individual strengths, while learning difficulties are identified and remediated. Pupils are encouraged to be responsible and accountable for their actions, while developing a healthy work ethic.

Outside of the classroom, children are exposed to various sporting codes and associated skills, thereby creating a suitable awareness and responsibility for a healthy lifestyle. Healthy attitudes towards fair play, honesty, reliability and respect are all promoted. Sport is compulsory and all pupils are expected to participate.
